One of the unique types of analysis Jackdaw Research does is combining strategic analysis of major technology companies with analysis of these companies’ financial and operating metrics, and their business models. The Jackdaw Research blog, Beyond Devices, covers these companies’ earnings each quarter, and Jackdaw Research is now making available a new paid product which offers greater depth and value beyond what these blog posts cover. This product will offer in-depth quarterly slide decks on major consumer technology companies financial and operating metrics. As of early 2017, the service also includes voiceover videos providing analysis and commentary around the decks.
Companies included:
- Alphabet (Google)
- Amazon
- Apple
- Lenovo
- Microsoft
- Netflix
- Samsung
- Snap
- Twitter.
Occasionally, other companies may be included too – past examples have included BlackBerry, Intel, and Square. In addition to these company decks, you will also receive quarterly decks on the US wireless market and US cable, satellite and telecoms operators, as well as a comparison of key metrics for the “Big Six” consumer technology companies (Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft and Samsung). You can purchase the US Wireless Market deck for Q4 2016 for $10 using a credit card by clicking here. The US Cable, Satellite, and Telco Q2 2016 deck is available for purchase here on the same basis.
A sample company deck (the Google deck for Q1 2015) may be found here. The exact information in each deck varies based on what and how much detail the company reports. Each deck will typically be published within a few days of reporting, though in some cases I may either delay publication or publish an update depending on SEC filings which provide additional details.
You can subscribe now from this page using a credit card – please select either the monthly plan ($10 per month) or annual plan ($100 per year) from the buttons below, and you’ll be taken to a Stripe-powered payment form.
